We believe in building strong relationships for long-term shared success. Broadwater Capital invests in lower middle market companies throughout the greater Midwest. We focus on mature companies primarily outside of major metropolitan areas that fit our company criteria.

We value that each business and its capital needs are unique. While we prefer to be a majority owner, Broadwater Capital maintains flexibility, including the potential to partner as a minority owner and in a variety of transaction types and structures.

Company Criteria

• Target industries: agribusiness, business services, consumer, distribution, light industrials, manufacturing, and technology
• Headquartered within the greater Midwest
• Lower middle market: $20-100M revenue or $2-10M EBITDA
• Preference for closely held businesses
• Strong leadership team
